Conscience in the Christian Perspective
"Conscience is an inner feeling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one's behavior."(Google.com). A good conscience will strive to keep each other safe by making a good decisions that will help and not hurt one another. While a bad conscience will make decisions no matter the cost just to benefit the individual, not taking in how the people around/ the community will be affected by this rash decision. From a Christian perspective God has created us moral beings who are personally accountable for their actions to him, he has given us a built in personal conscience. A great example of this is demonstrated in Romans, chapter 2, Paul is speaking about those peoples of the world who have never had the privilege of being given God's moral law as the Jewish people had. He says, "Some people naturally obey the Law's commands, even though they don't have the Law. This proves that the conscience is like a law written in the human heart. And it will show whether we are forgiven or condemned, when God has Jesus Christ judge everyone's secret thoughts, just as my message says" (vv. 14-16)

What Have I Learned from this Unit?
This concept of morality is what our parents have been trying to put into our brains the moment they stared teaching us, so that when we go into the world we can ma the right decisions that will benefit us and not hurt anybody. Once again we are being taught this so that we can make the right decisions when we enter adulthood. We must stick with our judgment and before making a decision think about all the possibilities, now after learning about the STOP model I will use it whenever I m in a sticky situation and i have to make a decision, I will keep in mind to think and act so that it will not hurt anybody and my decision will be for the greater good.
